Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

No minors allowed. The Services are offered only to adults. You must not register for, access, or use the Services if you are under the age at which you may legally enter a binding contract or legally place a wager in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher (in all cases at least 18, unless local law requires a higher minimum age).

• You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
• You may use the Services only where lawful. The Services are not available in jurisdictions where peer-to-peer wagering is prohibited.

We may request proof of age or identity at any time. If we discover or reasonably believe you are underage, we may close your account and take other steps described in our Child Safety Standards Policy.

Failure to provide requested proof of age or identity may result in suspension or termination of your account.

2. Accounts and Security

• Registration: You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account.
• One Account: You may only maintain one account. Multiple accounts may be closed without notice.
• Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
• Account Activity: You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Peer-to-Peer Bets

The Services facilitate peer-to-peer wagering between users. The Company does not participate in bets, set odds, or guarantee outcomes.

• Creating Bets: You may create or accept bet proposals with other users. All bets are binding once accepted by both parties.
• Bet Terms: You are responsible for understanding the terms of each bet, including the event, stake, odds, and settlement conditions.
• No Cancellation: Once a bet is accepted and confirmed, it cannot be canceled unless both parties agree or the event is canceled/postponed.
• Results: Bet results are determined based on official sources or data providers. The Company's determination of results is final.

4. Creator Odds Markets

4.1 What a creator odds market is

A creator odds market is a market in which one user (the "Creator") sets fixed odds on the outcome of a football match, a combination of matches (a "Bet Chain") or a competition, and other users ("Players") bet against the Creator at those odds. The Creator, not GMP, is the other party to every bet in the Creator's market. GMP runs the platform, holds the funds, adjusts prices within the Creator's settings and settles markets under these Terms.

4.2 Who can create a market

Only users we have enabled for creator odds, and who meet the requirements in sections 1 (Eligibility), 6 (Verification) and 9 (Responsible Gambling), may create a market. We decide which competitions, currencies and market types are available, and we may withdraw access at any time.

4.3 The Creator's allocation and maximum loss

To open a market, the Creator moves an allocation from their wallet, in the market's currency, and sets a maximum loss. The allocation is locked from funding until the market is settled or void; the expected settlement date is shown before the Creator funds the market. Odds change automatically as bets are placed, and an outcome stops taking bets before the Creator's possible loss on it could exceed the maximum loss. On a market that settles normally, the Creator will not lose more than the maximum loss.

The Creator may pause new bets, or close the market to new bets. Closing is permanent. Bets already accepted stay valid and are paid if they win.

4.4 Placing a bet

Before betting, a Player sees a quote showing the odds, the stake and the total payout, which includes the stake. A quote is valid for a short time. A bet is placed only when we confirm it, at the odds in the quote the Player confirmed. If the price changes first, the Player is asked to accept the new price. Neither the Player nor the Creator can cancel an accepted bet. We may set a minimum stake and a maximum total stake per Player in each market.

4.5 Results

Each market shows, before a bet is placed, which result it is settled on:

• Normal time. Unless a market says otherwise, a match is decided on the score at the end of normal time: 90 minutes plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs do not count.
• Including extra time and penalties. Where a market on a knockout match says it includes extra time and penalties, the outcome is the team that wins the match, including extra time and any penalty shoot-out. A draw is not an outcome in these markets.
• Competition winner. A competition market is settled on the team that wins the competition. A bet on a team that is later eliminated or withdraws stands, and loses unless that team wins.

Results come from our data providers. If results conflict or cannot be confirmed, we may hold settlement while we review them, and section 7 (Settlement, Results, and Disputes) applies.

4.6 Settlement

Once a result is confirmed, and normally no sooner than 30 minutes after the event ends, we pay each winning bet its total payout from the Creator's allocation. We then return the rest of the allocation to the Creator, together with the stakes of all losing bets.

4.7 Void markets

A match is void if it is cancelled, or postponed and not played within 48 hours of its original kick-off. If any match in a Bet Chain is void, the whole Bet Chain market is void. A competition market is void if no final result is available within 30 days after the competition's scheduled end. When a market is void, every stake is refunded in full and the Creator's allocation is returned in full.

We may also void a market or individual bets in the cases in section 10 (Prohibited Conduct), or where a market was offered or priced because of an obvious error.

4.8 Currency

Each market has one currency, chosen by the Creator when the market is created. Stakes, payouts and refunds are made in that currency, from and to the matching wallet balance. No currency conversion takes place.

4.9 Fees

We do not charge a separate fee on creator odds markets. The Creator's margin is built into the odds they set. Section 8 (Fees) applies to any fee we introduce later.

4.10 Responsible gambling

While a market is open, the Creator's maximum loss counts toward the Creator's loss limits. After settlement, the Creator's actual result counts instead. Players' stakes count toward their limits as usual. Section 9 applies to both.

4.11 Integrity

A Creator cannot bet on their own market. Users must not use creator odds markets to move money between accounts, act together with other users to secure a guaranteed return, bet on a market they created or control through another account, or take advantage of an obvious pricing error. We may suspend markets, void bets and close accounts under sections 10 and 12.

5. Wallets, Funding, and Withdrawals

• Wallet: Your account includes a digital wallet to hold funds for betting. The wallet is not a bank account and does not earn interest.
• Deposits: You may fund your wallet using approved payment methods. All deposits are subject to verification and may be delayed or rejected.
• Withdrawals: You may withdraw funds from your wallet at any time, subject to verification, minimum withdrawal amounts, and processing times.
• Fees: Certain transactions may be subject to fees (see Section 8).
• Currency: All transactions are conducted in the currency specified in your account settings.

We reserve the right to refuse, delay, or reverse any transaction if we suspect fraud, money laundering, or violation of these Terms.

6. Verification (KYC/AML)

To comply with legal and regulatory requirements, we may require you to verify your identity ("Know Your Customer" or KYC) and provide documentation, including:

• Government-issued photo ID (passport, driver's license, etc.)
• Proof of address (utility bill, bank statement, etc.)
• Payment method verification
• Source of funds documentation

Failure to complete verification may result in restrictions on your account, including the inability to deposit, withdraw, or place bets.

We comply with anti-money laundering (AML) laws and may report suspicious activity to relevant authorities.

7. Settlement, Results, and Disputes

• Settlement: Bets are settled based on official results from trusted data providers or sources. Settlement is typically automatic but may be delayed in certain circumstances.
• Disputes: If you believe a bet was settled incorrectly, you may submit a dispute within 7 days of settlement. We will review and make a final determination.
• Voided Bets: Bets may be voided if an event is canceled, postponed, or if there is an error in the bet terms. Voided bets result in stakes being returned.
• Final Decision: The Company's decision on all bet settlements and disputes is final and binding.

8. Fees

The Company may charge fees for certain services, including:

• Transaction Fees: Fees for deposits, withdrawals, or currency conversions.
• Service Fees: A percentage or flat fee on winning bets or other transactions.
• Inactivity Fees: Fees for prolonged account inactivity (after notice).

All applicable fees will be disclosed before you complete a transaction. Fees are subject to change with notice.

9. Responsible Gambling

We are committed to promoting responsible gambling. You acknowledge that:

• Gambling can be addictive and should be done responsibly.
• You should only bet what you can afford to lose.
• You are responsible for managing your gambling activity.

We provide tools to help you manage your gambling, including:

• Deposit Limits: Set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits.
• Loss Limits: Set limits on losses over a specified period.
• Time Limits: Set limits on time spent using the Services.
• Self-Exclusion: Temporarily or permanently exclude yourself from the Services.
• Reality Checks: Receive notifications about time spent and money wagered.

10. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws.
• Minors: Allow or assist anyone who does not meet the eligibility requirements in Section 1 to use the Services, or provide false age or identity information.
• Exploitation and harassment: Threaten, stalk, bully, sexually harass, discriminate against, or exploit other users or third parties, or encourage others to do so.
• Fraud, abuse, and identity misuse: Engage in fraud, chargeback abuse, money laundering, or other financial crimes; impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation; or misuse another person's identity or payment credentials in connection with the Services.
• Accounts: Create multiple accounts, use another person's account, or use more than one account to evade limits or other restrictions, except as we expressly permit in writing.
• Manipulate or attempt to manipulate bet outcomes, odds, or results.
• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to access or use the Services without our prior written consent.
• Collude with other users to gain an unfair advantage.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Services except where applicable law prohibits this restriction.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers.
• Post or transmit any unlawful, offensive, or inappropriate content.

Serious or repeated violations—including without limitation underage use, harassment or exploitation of others, or fraud, abuse, or identity misuse—may result in permanent suspension or termination of your account at our discretion, in addition to any other remedies available at law or under these Terms (including forfeiture of funds where permitted).

11. Privacy

Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

By using the Services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Termination

• By You: You may close your account at any time by contacting us. You must withdraw all funds before closing your account.
• By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, or legal requirements. Certain violations (including serious fraud, abuse, harassment, exploitation, identity misuse, or underage use) may result in a permanent ban with no right to create a new account, subject to applicable law.
• Effect of Termination: Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Services. Any outstanding bets will be settled according to their terms. Funds in your wallet may be returned to you, subject to verification and applicable fees.

We reserve the right to retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

13. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that:

• The Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
• Results, odds, or data will be accurate or reliable.
• Any errors or defects will be corrected.
• The Services will meet your requirements or expectations.

You use the Services at your own risk. We are not responsible for any losses resulting from your use of the Services.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved through:

• Informal Resolution: We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any disputes informally.
• Arbitration: If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the United Kingdom Arbitration Act, unless prohibited by law.
• Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in class actions or class arbitrations.

You may opt out of arbitration by notifying us in writing within 30 days of accepting these Terms.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by:

• Posting the updated Terms on the Site or App.
• Sending an email notification to your registered email address.
• Providing an in-app notification.

Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Services and close your account.
